The idea of gender keeps revolving with changes in society constraint to social communication and interaction with both personal surrounding and surrounding world. The idea of gender in the period of time differentiates from region to region. But several gender constraints are like they are inbuilt in our upbringing. They are well sustained in our subconscious mind and makes it uncomfortable for us to identify surrounding if something doesn’t fit well in the structure. Gender construction starts with the birth itself, it the way we dress, the toys we pay with, the hobbies we indulge in and even the behavior to act on certain situations. The capitalist market system works in the direction of following and reinforcing gender-based norms established by the society like blue for boys and pink for girls. Nor just market even the surroundings of a child like peers, entertainment, teachers and role models also contribute in establishing such norms. The very first interaction to gender trap is encountered by a child through the parents. From the very birth, parents indulge in correcting and ordering child’s emotional and logical understanding based on whether the child is girl or boy. Such indulgence parents in such activities is based on their years of interaction with gender based differentiation established and keeps transforming but keeping the constraints into effect which might appear different regionally but fundamentally absolutely identical to one another.
